Flavour Biography

Chinedu Izuchukwu Okoli, professionally known as Flavour N’abania, is a Nigerian Afro-culture and Highlife singer born on November 23, 1983, in Enugu State. Originally from Umunze in Anambra State, Flavour began his musical journey at age 13 as a church drummer before training as a vocalist, keyboardist, and performing artist. He released his debut album “N’abania” in 2008, but rose to continental fame with his 2010 hit “Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix)”, which established him as one of Africa’s leading Highlife voices. Over the years, Flavour has built a unique sound that blends traditional Igbo rhythms with modern Afrobeat, Highlife, and contemporary African music. Flavour is signed to 2Nite Entertainment and is recognized for culturally rich songs, electrifying live performances, and his strong influence on modern Highlife. As of 2025, he remains one of Africa’s most celebrated Afro-culture artists, continuing to release music that honors African heritage and Igbo culture.
