Minister Chigo Biography
Minister Chigo, whose full name is Kelvin Chijioke Chigozirim, is a Nigerian gospel singer, worship leader, songwriter, and music minister known for his passionate worship style and soul-lifting sound. He hails from Obohia Ndoki in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria. From a young age, Chigo developed a strong interest in music and worship, eventually growing into a dedicated minister with a deep commitment to sharing God’s presence through songs.
Over the years, he has served as a worship leader, music director, pastor, and teacher, using his ministry to inspire spiritual transformation in his listeners.
With over 18 years of experience in music and ministry, Minister Chigo has worked both independently and as part of music groups. He serves as the CEO of Chigo Music Ministries (CMM) and has also held leadership roles such as Vice President of Golden Star Music Elite. His ministry involves teaching, worship leadership, and mentoring younger musicians. Minister Chigo rose to wider recognition through his widely embraced worship single “Tamuno Eh”, which became a favorite in churches and worship gatherings.
He later followed up with other singles, including “Olotu (Champion)”, further establishing his presence in the gospel-music space. Known for his heartfelt worship, lyrical depth, and humility, Minister Chigo has ministered alongside several notable Nigerian gospel artists and continues to grow as a respected and influential voice in contemporary gospel music.
