Minister GUC
Minister GUC, born Gift Ugochi Christopher on October 8, 1993, is a Nigerian gospel artist, worship leader, and songwriter from Emohua, Rivers State, Nigeria. He was raised in Port Harcourt, where he completed his early education and later graduated from the University of Port Harcourt (UniPort). GUC’s ministry journey began early through local church choirs and campus fellowship music teams, where he developed his signature worship sound—marked by intense emotion, depth, and spiritual sensitivity. His major career breakthrough came after signing with EeZee Conceptz Global in 2019, the label that also houses Mercy Chinwo and Judikay. His widely celebrated single “All That Matters” became a global worship anthem in 2020, earning millions of streams and establishing him as one of the most influential gospel voices in Africa. He released his debut album The Message in December 2020, followed by To Yahweh’s Delight in 2022. In 2024, GUC expanded his artistic expression with the release of The Trio and I, a project that showcased more musical diversity while maintaining his spiritual depth. The album was launched during his 5-year anniversary celebration with EeZee Conceptz. By 2025, Minister GUC continues to lead worship across Nigeria, Africa, and internationally. His songs remain dominant in churches, prayer gatherings, and worship events. He is recognized not only as a gospel artist, but also as a preacher and minister whose teachings and music influence a global Christian audience. GUC is married to Nkpoikana “Nene” Ntuk, whom he married on March 6, 2021. They welcomed their first child on March 6, 2022, a date that coincidentally marked their first wedding anniversary. Today, Minister GUC stands as one of the most relevant and consistent gospel ministers of his generation, known for his powerfully anointed worship sessions, scripturally rooted songs, and ability to connect people to deep moments of intimacy with God.
